| Dear allI have got a table loaded with a lot of text into the database properly.but when i execute a select command it does not pick the entire text.Most of it is truncated.Can any one helpme in this regard.Thanksajay. |

| It's probably the client that is doing the truncation.It will be client dependent - if it's in query analyser then you have to set the character limit for the result - max 8000.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |

Assuming you are using Query Analyzer, go to Tools-->Options menu. Click results tab and change the value for 'Maximum Characters per Column'.-ec |
