After recovering SQL DB it was identified as "SUSPECT". Changed the status of the the DB to "Emergency Mode" to recreate the log file. I cannot change the status back to normal. Can anyone please tell me how to change the status back to normal. Please help.

All emergency mode does is enable you to access the database without it attempting recovery.
Now you need o create another database and copy everything into it.

If you think it is ok then you can try recovering by setting the flag back but I doubt if that will get anywhere.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.
