| After recovering SQL DB it was identified as "SUSPECT". Changed the status of the the DB to "Emergency Mode" to recreate the log file. I cannot change the status back to normal. Can anyone please tell me how to change the status back to normal. Please help. |

| All emergency mode does is enable you to access the database without it attempting recovery. Now you need o create another database and copy everything into it.seehttp://www.nigelrivett.net/SQLAdmin/RecoverCorruptDatabase.htmlIf you think it is ok then you can try recovering by setting the flag back but I doubt if that will get anywhere.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
