I added some job to run at mid-night.
Sometime, job failed to run. I like to know what happened.
Where to check the job failed log info?

Just right click on the job, go to job history, then check the box to see the details.

It only tell me "the job was invoked by schedule..." It does not help.

You didn't check the details then. Once you click the check box, more lines will appear for each run of the job.

Thank you for help. I got this message:

Executed as user: Intra-query parallelism caused your server command (process ID #54) to deadlock. Rerun the query without intra-query parallelism by using the query hint option (maxdop 1). [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 8650). The step failed.

I do not understand what is going wrong.

I googled your error message and found this:

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=837983

If that doesn't help, I'd suggest looking at the other google links as well. If that still doesn't help, you may need to contact Microsoft directly for this.
