My boss is offsite, he called and said he's creating a view that uses linked servers, and Query Analyzer is saying the view is created successfully, but then it disappears. He can't use it, and he can't find it in sysobjects. He's double-checked and he's running the CREATE statement in the correct db. Any ideas?

I will if and when I can, he's in a meeting all day. Could it be a permissions thing that isn't returning an error like it should?

It would return an error if the view could not be created, regardless of the cause.Tara Kizer
