Ali writes "Hi,
I've used the code below to search in MS-SQL Server

use northwind;
select * from Employees where lastname = 'FuLLeR';

I expect the result to be null, but the query returns One Row, Fuller. I am running Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Developer Version On MS-Windows XP SP-2. Is it any way to make the query CASE SENSITIVE?
To be honest i'm using the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Programming by Example Book and I'm beginning Trrigers Today.

With my warmest regards,

Use COLLATE clause to specify Case-sensitive collation in where clause as follows:

Select * from Employees
where lastname collate SQL_Latin1_General_CP850_CS_AS
= 'FuLLeR'
