Hi, Does anyone know if it is possible to reference a user defined function which is on another server. The usual like Servername.DB.dbo. does not work with UDF's.Thanks in advance for your helpJo  |

| You aren't allowed to qualify the server in a udf call but you can embed the call in sp_executesql and call that on the remote server.Better probably to create an SP on the remote server to handle the call.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
