| I am using sql server 2005. The max size per row in a table is about 8096 byte sth which I can't really remember. I want to know how can I handle this kind of problem? Thanks in advance for any reply.aex |

| this is related to your table design, are you sure you need all those strings and with those size? you can try to divide the fields and see if you can normalize the table a bit--------------------keeping it simple... |

Actually I have already normalized the table. In fact, I can separate the table fields to another table so that to have one-to-many relationship. But I want to make my table much simple. So, if I can increase the row size for the table, I do not need to create more tables which will spend me more time in constructing inner join query. aex |

thanks thanks alot Ryan for willing to help. I really appreciate that and sorry for my late reply. In fact, I have already solved the problem by splitting the fields to number of tables. Now its almost late here and I gotta get back home. Once again, thanks you.aex |
