You don't setup an ODBC connection to be read-only. You setup the permissions on the database so that the user only has read-only access. I've never used Access before, so I can't provide details on how to setup permissions. But I would suspect that this information is covered in the Access documentation. If you can't find it, I'd suggest posting your questing in the Access forum here.
