| Hi Guys,When i use to loop through one table in my database having more than 100,000 records, it disturbs values in a different table. I am using Visual Basic 6 Frontend and SQL Server 2000 Enterprise EditionCan you please tell me whats going on.Thanks,MA |

| What do you mean disturbs?Are you updating? Is there a trigger on the table?==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |

| no, i am using microsoft visual basic 6.0. and usingconnection.execute method to loop through the database and update some columns like col1=primary keymSaveStr="Update table1 set col1=3,col2=4 where col1=1"connection.execute(mSaveStr) |
