| Hi Gurus,I have mapped a network drive that F:But when I try to access it using XP_CMDSHELL it doesn't work. It give me error"The system cannot find the path specified." I am running this query using SA and have full rights.When execute command "DIR F:", it works but not from QA.It works in my development server but not on staging. On both the server, SQL server is running under local account. I also tried using domain Id but no luck.Thanks for your help in advance.RegardsSachin Don't sit back because of failure. | You wouldn't be able to do that, because the drive is mapped under your user's context, not the local system account's. You'd need to (preferably to anything else) use the UNC path to the directory instead. Also, if it's a remote drive, you'd need to be running SQL under a domain account that has permission to list the contents of the remote path.-------Moo. :) |
