| Hi All,I have been trying for some time to get this code to work in an ADP, it works just fine in an MDB. It has me stumped. I have tried it as a View, SP, Function. I have tried to change the wildcard from * to %, but it still will not work.Like "*" & [Forms]![Searchform]![Searchtext] & "*"I am trying to use a from to provide my query data. Thanks in AdvanceJon |

| DO you mean you are trying to copy that code to run it in sql server?SQL server won't know about [Forms]![Searchform]![Searchtext] - that's a cl;ient object (access is a client and database). You need to pass that as a parameter to a storted proc.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
