Select Upper(substring(col,1,1))+Lower(substring(col,2,len(col))) from yourTable

Also, You can do it in your front end application before assigning data to dropdown control

No such function as InitCap in T-SQL. Do this in your front end application as suggested

Oracle supports InitCap but not MSSQL Server. Also search at script Library forum
