| you mean criteria to determine if a user should have exec rights?that depends if the user really needs to execute the sprocor am i over simplifying this?--------------------keeping it simple... |

| Never mind found it. Using the Ent. manager I was able to assign exec permission for this procedure to a databaserole. |
