Hi,

I've got access to a third party stored procedure that returns two tables. How can I populate a temporary table from the second returned table? The following does not work as there are two output tables:

insert INTO #tmp execute sp_Demo

Thanks in advance,
Nic

The easiest way would be to get the third party to modify it - is that possible?

If the stored procedure returns 2 distinct result sets, then I think the only way that you could do what you want to do is to write a .DLL using API level calls to get the data, and then create an extended stored procedure for that .DLL.

Hope it helps,
Dalton
