| Harshad Riswadkar writes "Hi Team,I would like know if using a stored procedure to show the counts for a table/column in ASP page is faster than building a dynamic SQL Query.I have created 2 pages where I am building dynamic SQL queries and in the other I am executing the stored procedure. Both show the counts from a given table. I found out that page with stored procedures executes around 10-12 seconds faster than the other page.Is there any way I can improve the performance?Hoping for answer. Thanks," |

| Stored procedures will usually be faster, but it depends on what you are doing. You've already seen that the stored procedure is 10-12 seconds faster, so I'm not sure why you don't believe it.Tara Kizeraka tduggan |
