Hi,
Who has the access to create or edit a trigger? and can this be limited?
for example, can a user given access to run the trigger but restricted from editing, viewing or creating one?
thank you

Users don't run triggers. They are kicked off by the server when a table is modified.

I understand this but i created a trigger to prevent deletion of records and i dont want a user who connects to db using enterprise manager to delete or alter the trigger. This is what i was asking. How can i set the security settings for the trigger? It will be like UserA can view the trigger but UserB can not, and UserC can view and edit it type of modeling.
thank you

Grant db_owner privileges to the users you want to have the ability to create/modify database objects. Don't grant it for the users that you don't want to have this ability.
