| The Forum description is: This forum is for topics related to SQL Server developers. It should include topics such as queries and application design. No offense, but it's not only about questions. Yak Coral is social, Article discussion is abount articles which have "article link" or written article on the site.It does not matter where to put the topic, and I questioned myself, where to place it.Usualy when I use search on the site I get time outs.If I imagine myself looking for some clues on doing something with rules, I probably picked this forum to enter my search query. So it was not unthoughtfull, or ignorant that I put it here. However (off topic) this is a real problem. How does a user know where to put his topic? This is the same question the founders of Google had when making a search engine. How do I give a relevant result on a search query? (I read The Search John Battelle, loved it)Never mind, if moderator moves this topic it's alright.Henri~~~~The envious praises me unknowingly |

| The Developer forum is the most active on this site, so your post will disappear from peoples view fairly fast. Most people here are used to the Developer Forum being for questions and problems related to SQL development. The Article Discussion forum is mostly for artices on this site, but there are links there to articles on other sites. What you could do is post a question on the Site Related Discussions forum to ask where it should be posted for future reference.CODO ERGO SUM |
