| what's provisind?if you mean different nt login id, then yesor you mean after logging into sql server? then no--------------------keeping it simple... |

| sorry, provisind = providingfor example, i am logged in to sql server in query analyzer as user A, and i want to run a SELECT as user B, is that possible?thanks markus |

like changing database connection? no, i don't think so...when you're connected, you're connected as the user who establishes the connection (this sounds like Kristen's Test thread ) unless you disconnect from that connection or open another connection in a separate QA instance--------------------keeping it simple... |
