The multi-part identifier "Tst.CumulativeBal" could not be bound.

received when ran this update query

UPDATE Tbl_Test_InvRes
Set Tst.CumulativeBal = vwRes.CumulativeBal
Tst.ResDate = vwRes.ResDate,
Tst.ResDays = vwRes.ResDays
FROM Tbl_Test_InvRes Tst INNER JOIN
vw_runBal_InvRes vwRes ON Tst.InvNum = vwRes.InvNum AND
Tst.TxnPostDt_Updated = vwRes.TxnPostDt_Updated AND
Tst.TxnBankDepDt_Updated = vwRes.TxnBankDepDt_Updated

Set Tst.CumulativeBal = vwRes.CumulativeBal
...

should be

SET CumulativeBal = vwRes.CumulativeBal
...

Don't include alias in the left part of the SET.
