Could you please help me, why this happened? what does that means? Any help is highly appriciated.

Here is my code Routines...

BEGIN TRAN LogResultTrans
-- Log the Activity Event
COMMIT TRAN LogResultTrans

BEGIN TRAN SchedTask

SET @ErrNum = 0
--Process the code

IF @@ERROR <> 0 SET @ErrNum = @@ERROR

IF @ErrNum <> 0
BEGIN
ROLLBACK TRAN SchedTask
END
ELSE
BEGIN
--Update the Activity
COMMIT TRAN SchedTask
END

EXEC another stored procedure
EXEC another stored procedure
GO

:::::ERROR MESSAGE::::

I never figured out the cause, I just started using TCP/IP for stuff and the error went away for me.

I think, the computer I was using as the client had a WINS issue; and later found out the server I was connecting to had a MSDTC issue.

Thanks TimS.

I connected to my Server using "Remote Desktop Connection" with Administrative Rights.

Is that what is causing the Issues?

Thanks is Advance
