| i have a distributed transaction. when i run it normally i was able to run it.. but when i put the same query inside a trigger, i get an error.. what could be the reason for it?? is distributed transaction allowed on trigger??? help me out in this regard...regards,Girish C. Haomom |

| Allowed? Not sure...advisable? NEVER!A common abuse of triggers...their scope should be limited to the table if possible, and never outside the database. |
