connection failure ( connection is open?)

hi all

i am getting strange error in my VB application.
there are total 4 modules in my application.
i m able to connect to database properly without any error with my 3 modules.

but for last one 4th module i m getting Connection Failure error...
but this module is working fine for 1 year but now a days its displaying me "connection Failure error...."
i stuck wht is the problem? the problem is in my front end? or in back end? i m using sql server 2000.

and one more thing i m able to connect to my other databases with same application succefully and able to work without errors

Are you using the same database and same user for all 4 modules?

yes i m using same database and same user for all of my 4 modules.
and strange thing is its working fine since 1 year.
we are facing this problem since week only.

Then Problem must be in front-end.

but its working fine. there is no chnage of single byte.
r u getting me? if problem is front end then it will show same error
on other databases on same server.

i dont know wht to do next? and connection failure is - for connection not opne. i debug my vb code on smae machine or on server -- its showing me same error -- "connection Failure" but i chk out that connection status is 1 and connection string is proper.
