I have a prices table for a day - e.g. december 1, 2005 (between 7 am and 4 pm):

Prices(

sku String,

rate Float,

time Timestamp -- the number of milliseconds since Jan 1, 1970

)

From this table, I need to populate another table with summary data (average price) for each sku for every 10 minute interval of the day, 7:00-7:10, 7:10-7:20, 7:20-7:30, etc.

summary(

sku String,

avgrate Float,

time Timestamp -- start of the interval

)

Please help me with the sql. I need to use SQL - no pl/sql.

Thank you!

Cloudie

Cloudie, Is this on MS SQL Server or Oracle ? Cause the timestamp data type used here does not seems like the timestamp in MS SQL.
Note : This is a MS SQL Server Forumn. If it is on Oracle, pls post in Oracle forums.
