| Hello allI have an excel spreadsheet template that connects to sql server on the LAN. Recently, the location of the database has been changed to reside on a server in a datacentre. I can connect to the server through query analyzer using windows authentication. However, when I try to connect to the server through the spreadsheet, I get the following error:connection failed. SQLState:'01000'. SQL server Error:53[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]ConnectionOpen(Connect()).Connection failed: SQLState:'08001'. SQL Server Error:17. SQL Server does not exist or access denied.I can see the server on the network, and it cannot be a permissions issue as I cannot connect using the sa and pwd either. Does anyone have any resolutions to this? Thanks in advanceHearty head pats |
