Hi, this is my first post here and it's a cry for help; I hope to be able to return the favour soon.I have a set of three linked tables. Top level is a contract, the next level is a show (so there are multiple shows per contract) and the bottom level is a country (shows may be sold to many countries). Now, I need to create a new version of the contract and leave the old one there. Easy to do that at the top level which gives me a new ContractID. I can then copy all shows that relate to the Old ContractID to the new one and update the ContractID on them. But now for the countries. I can find all the countries that relate to shows that relate to the old contract, but I have created new ShowIDs in the middle table and don't know what they are!Hope this makes sense to you. contracts have ContractIDs, shows have ShowIDs and link to ContractIDs (many to one) and countries have CountryIDs linking to ShowIDs (many to one). What's the best way to do this without pages of ASP |
