| I have a table with a bunch of "%u00XX" (WHERE 'XX' represents ASCII hexadecimal value of the special character such as 3A for ":" or 2F for "/" etc.) The data looks like that:<http%u003A%u002F%u002Fwww%u002Egoogle%u002Ecom> For a quick and derty way of reformatting that data I wrote a simple REPLACE statement:SELECT REPLACE( REPLACE( REPLACE(REPLACE(myTable,'%u003A',':'),'%u002F','/'),'%u002E','.'),'%u002D','-'), which works fine but requires all special characters to be listed: ?,%-&$ etc. This giant SELECT obviousely does not look efficient. Any help in decoding that string into http://www.google.com would be really appreciated. |
