In one of our project the client is asking us to stick to ANSI SQL Scalar functions instead of T-SQL's own functions (Current_Timestamp instead of getdate()).

Any place where I can get this kind of equivalent function details.
Searched google, but couldnt find much.

Thanks

You should be able to get hold of the SQL-92 ? spec, not sure if that is very helpful though.

If you are ONLY allowd to use ANSI sql functions you will be limited in functionality.

Edit:
?? what's this ?? usability seems limited...
SET FIPS_FLAGGER OFF
SET FIPS_FLAGGER 'FULL'

The clients insists use where ever possible instead of built-in function.
