Cheers,
Danny

You can view via Enterprise Manager or use stored procedure sp_helparticle

Hi again!

Further to this I'd like to use the results from sp_helparticle in another script. Is it possible to return only certain columns from the SP?

Ideally I'd like to return "article name", "base object", "destination object", "type", "vertical partition", "pre_creation_cmd".

If this isn't possible using sp_helparticle is there another way to return the information I need?

Cheers,
Danny

Look into how the system stored proc retrieves the info...

use master
go
exec sp_helptext 'sp_helparticle'

Thanks for that Nathan. I'm pretty sure I should be able to get what I need from that.

Thanks very much

No problem... just be careful when relying on system tables directly. It is always better to interact with them through the Information Schema views as Microsoft reserves the right to modify system objects at any time; though, in this case I do not think you have a view to employ.
