Hi again!Further to this I'd like to use the results from sp_helparticle in another script. Is it possible to return only certain columns from the SP?Ideally I'd like to return "article name", "base object", "destination object", "type", "vertical partition", "pre_creation_cmd".If this isn't possible using sp_helparticle is there another way to return the information I need?Cheers,Danny

Look into how the system stored proc retrieves the info... use mastergoexec sp_helptext 'sp_helparticle'Nathan Skerl

No problem... just be careful when relying on system tables directly. It is always better to interact with them through the Information Schema views as Microsoft reserves the right to modify system objects at any time; though, in this case I do not think you have a view to employ. Nathan Skerl
