| I created a login in SQL Server with absoletely no rights given to it ... but added it to the server role Setup Administrators so that the login can add /remove linked servers.But when logged in with the above user name and password ,the SQL Server did not allow me to create linked servers.The same is happening with most of the other server roles.... Is this a bug in SQL Srv 2K or am I doing smething wrong ???TIA-Vivek |
