stored proc with insert in a table create problem

stored proc with insert in a table create problem

Hi

On a specific date, I need to be able to generate a portfolio, with nominal amounts, prices etc. I then do several different analysis, all based on these generated data. An example is the following stored procedure:
ALTER proc usp_inv_portfolio
@dato as int, @kundenr as int=11111111, @termin as bit = 0
as
delete from inv_portfolio_Table
insert inv_portfolio_Table
exec usp_inv_portfolio_master @dato, @kundenr, @termin
select gfratmp, fondskode, nom inv_portfolio_Table where nom >0

This i working fine in sql query when calling the stored procedure, but calling the stored procedure from excel, I get an error , "..object closed.." (also posted under general SQL SERVER by mistake)
