| Hi TeamI want to know, what goes on inside SQL Server when it performs an ALTER TABLE operation. It will be a great help if somebody can explain the steps that it follows before performing an Alter Table operation. I got a good idea by going thru the profiler trace window but still curious to know the undocumented details. Also does it uses SQL-DMO library to perform the Alter operation or it uses system/extended stored procedures directly.Thanks in advance.Rajender Kr. |
