| I am required to perform database restore from vb and handle any errors in code if not successfuly restored, which must be reported back to the user. I am a beginner at this, so please can some one give me some clues here. I am not sure how information on errors can be obtained from code once a restore command has been executed. Thanks in Advance.Afif |

| You will probabaly want to use the SQL-DMO. There are several articles here at sqlteam that include some demo code to get you started.http://www.sqlteam.com/item.asp?ItemID=9093I suggest you google around a bit to see what you can find. There is probably SQL-DMO based backup/restore code floating around the internet that will get you jump started.-ec |
