| HI. In SQL 7.0, the Enterprise Manager allowed you to do a "Truncate Logfile" task. WE have migrated to SQL2000. The user interface is dramatically different and I no longer find that feature in the new Enterprise Manager. Is there a way to do this thru a system stored procedure or Transact-SQL statement in Query Analyzer? Thanks!Debbie |

| BACKUP LOG DBNameGoesHere WITH NO_LOGDo you need this feature because you ran out of disk space? Or is your recovery model set to FULL and you aren't performing tlog backups? Make sure to run a full backup after you run the command as always.Tara |
