Hi all,

I am running the following T-SQL which is resulting in the following error :

T-SQL : SELECT * from adapt.londev3.sys01.adverts

"Server: Msg 7315, Level 16, State 1, Procedure vw_njp_details, Line 2
OLE DB provider 'MSDASQL' contains multiple tables that match the name"

Anyone help at all, I've tried using OPENQUERY but when using this method I get

"Server: Msg 7357, Level 16, State 2, Line 1
Could not process object 'select * from archive'. The OLE DB provider 'MSDASQL' indicates that the object has no columns."

???

Thanks for that article though I'm not doing any updates or deletes. To me looks as though SQL is seeing two objects for each table, a Table and a View and both are called the same which would make sense regarding the message.
