Hello.. i read this little article about COL_NAME

it says:

column_id:
Is the identification number of the column. column_id parameter is of type int.


I just got 1 question..
Is "column_id" the ORDINAL_POSITION of the column? (that you can get with INFORMATION_SCHEMA.COLUMNS), or is it something else?.
