Author  Topic  REDDY Starting Member 43 Posts Posted - 2005-05-24 : 13:17:04 I have a single backupfile that contains all 3 types of backups together(FULL,Diff,Tran) When I am restoring the file one by one (FULL + Last DIFF + Tran) to a database using a schedule At each run I need to find what files have been restored upto that time based on that data job will restore the next one,is it possible to know restored file information,especially I need the type of file(Diff/tran/full) and file number info. I tried the msdb.dbo.restorehistory table but this table doesn't contain the filenumber Any help will be greately appriciated Thanks Reddy
