Hello Guys,
I know you can connect to SQL Server through Query Analyzer but am not sure whether i can connect to SQL Server without opening Query Analyzer and using only EnterPrise Manager. If yes then would you be kind enough to give me the steps once i am on Enterprise Manager.Where do i have to go to get connected to SQL Server. Thanks

jen

not sure if i understand you correctly, but if you can connect using query analyzer, you can definitely connect using EM

  • Right-Click SQL Server Group

  • Click first option, New SQL Server Registration to use the registration wizard

  • Click next, if the name of the server does not exist in the left hand side list then type the name of your server and click on the Add button

  • Click next then finish the registration.

Hope this helps!
