| hey all,i have done this before just cant remember where i got the info from againif i want to find the actual size of the database?so say its got 20 gig of space drop half cols should be 50% full how do i find outs "acutal size" not allocated size again? |

| you should also run DBCC UPDATESUAGE to update the space usage metrics in the sysindexes table.Look in BOL for more details.-ec |
