| How do I enter a null by typing it directly into a sql table. The design of it allows nulls, but it is a smalldatetime field. |

| I have a date in the field at present. I want to delete this date and leave a null or zero length string. If I just delete the date by highlighting it and pressing delete then it will not let me do this. |
