Pushp writes "I want to log Trigger action in Log Table. Do the MS SQL server have any Varaible or some thing like that which returns the Trgger's Action on which the triggers fired i.e. Insert/Update/Delete.Although this can be implemented by logic like I can use conditions but I want some thing from SQL server which return the action of triggers."

Any logging of a trigger's action would need to be written in the trigger itself, and you'll know at the time it was created what actions it can perform.

I agree. If this feature is there in SQL Server itself,it would be more helpful in many ways.:) While we stop to think, we often miss our opportunity :)
