Hi all,

Suppose I have a stored procedure with 8 input parameters, each with a default value specified. What is the most common method to call the stored procedures with some or all parameters left to the default? e.g. using the DEFAULT keyword ...

It seems tedious to type in the keyword DEFAULT for every parameter if I have a lot of them. Is there any other method?

Thanks,
delpiero

include the parameter name in executing the sp..

exec spName @var1=value1,@var4=value...

keeping it simple...
