Hi all,

I am using sql personal edition now and this is how I connect to it
-------------
Class.forName("com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver");
System.out.println("connect to driver");
Connection conn = DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver://localhost:1433;user=user;password=pass");
Statement stmt=conn.createStatement( );
-------------
I will be changing to sql developer after some time. Do I have to change any thing to connect to this or I can use this code without aby modifications .

Thank You.

No change if it's installed as the default instance.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.
