Michael writes "I would like to know if there is a tool or an IDE that includes the feature to properly indent and otherwise format ( like separte lines for parenthesis, etc... ) SQL Server stored procedure code.

In particular, I'd like to know if there exists a tool which can read poorly formatted code and reformat it according to good structure practices. We inherited some AWFUL code from a contractor, and one of the biggest problems is just the formatting."

maybe coderush (www.devexpress.com/products/NET/Coderush/) or something like that.
