| i'm looking after several apps at the moment and i'd like to know if any of them aren't closing connections properly. if i run sp_who it lists all connections. fine. asp.net however pools connections so there are always a couple open. so is there anyway to determine through sql server if one of my apps is leaking a connection? |

| you can check the sysprocesses entries and compare the login time and last batch or log the last batch in a table, then check after 15 minutes or so, if it hasn't changed then you can kill the spid.--------------------keeping it simple... |
