I am concatenating a sql string but it seems to have a limit of about 257 characters. The variable is declared as varchar(2000). Is there anyway to get around this?

The limit is 8000. Is this only happening in Query Analyzer? If so, Tools..Options..Results..Maximum Characters Per Column.

Thats strange. My only guess is that your viewing the result in query analyzer and that it is truncating the result.
