In the same way I can do a select into #tmp to avoid having to create and define #tmp:select * into #tmp from Users ..is there a way I can use bulk insert to determine and build my temp table destination?I'm doing a bulk insert from a text file with a format file to describe its temporary table destination dimensions:Bulk Insert #Tmp from 'DataTest.txt' with (FORMATFILE = 'MainImport.fmt') ..and it makes logical sense that I ought to be able to avoid "create table #tmp ( ... )" Is this possible? |
