| If you are running your query in Query Analyzer then it might be that you have set the maximum characters per column to 1020.You can change this property by selecting Tools/Options/Results then changing the property and clicking OKDuane. |

| Duane's right, but once you get past that, SQL has a limit of 8,000 chars in a single VARCHAR. |

| You could use text instead but Text has some limitations that make it undesirable. Especially when grouping data.JimUsers <> Logic |
