| Hi: I am facing some problems when i send a mail thru smtp.I have windows 2000 server and sql serevr 2000 installed.When i run the following stored proc i am getting the error no:-2147220973Pls help me on this..fyi: I am to send a mail thru asp.net using smtp.CREATE PROCEDURE [dbo].[sp_send_cdosysmail] @From varchar(100) , @To varchar(100) , @Subject varchar(100)=" ", @Body varchar(4000) =" "/*********************************************************************This stored procedure takes the parameters and sends an e-mail. | I believe that error number indicates that the SMTP server is not available. Double check that the server is started.
