Tim writes "As the subject would suggest I am trying to retrieve data from a table that has a column defined as a text data type. This is the query:
========= select * FROM articles WHERE articleNum = '" &_ request.querystring("articleNum") & "'" =========
Here is the error message I'm getting:
========= Error Type: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80020009) Multiple-step OLE DB operation generated errors. Check each OLE DB status value, if available. No work was done. /redesign/article.asp
Browser Type: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows NT 5.0)
Page: GET /redesign/article.asp =========
I've used the same code before in a different web app., and it works fine which is why I'm wondering if it has something to do with the text data type. Can you help?
