Luqman writes "I normally use crystal report with sql server 2k for my various reporting needs, now I am trying to figure out, how can I display aggregate totals of boss and their subord. downwards.

For example:-

President
Senior Manager
Manager-1
Secretary
Clerk
Total of Manager-1

Manager-2
Secretary
Asst. Secretary-1
Asst. Secretary-2
Total of Secretary
Total of Manager-2
Total of Senior Manager
Total of President

Best Regards,

One of the first things we need to know is which hierarchical (or tree) model did you use? There are at least three different ways of modeling this. If you would provide some DDL (CREATE TABLE statements) and some DML (INSERT statements) to provide us with some sample data, it will be a lot easier to answer your question.
